Very well made cage for my 2 parakeets. The door slides makes giving fresh water and food a breeze. The large front door has an easy swivel lock. The open top is a plus as the birds have a safe landing place after being out for a fly and they can climb down inside easily. The storage area underneath is great for food, toys and cover. The wheels allow easy moving. The price is comparable to the used cages I saw on Craigs List, but those cages had bars that were too big for parakeets. Plus, I like having a brand new cage.
The only other cage I would consider is a flight cage. However, with the open top, this is not necessary. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
